Neshaminy might not be stocked anymore. When stocking stops, fishing pressure usually drops. Sometimes, even with lower water quality, that gives holdover trout a chance to reproduce and establish wild populations🤔

I fish year round, but I enjoy this time of year because, as you mentioned, it’s when fresh greenery starts to emerge from the trees and the ground 😊

A size 14 or 16 beadhead pheasant tail under a hi-vis BWO with extra fibers for better float and visibility is my go-to for creeks like this, though it’s effective on just about any small stream to a certain extent.
