I make my swatches 8” square and then read the gauge at the bottom, middle, and top of the swatch to see what my tension was doing. It’s usually more accurate at the top end before I bound off. I also bought an inexpensive and amazing little steamer on Amazon for blocking the project as I go. 😁

Easy pickled beets and onions with dill. Cooling the brine down to room temperature here and then popping this jar in the fridge for four to five days. Golden beets, this time. Soooo yummy!!😋
