Oh great skateboarding opossum with a useless vowel in your name, tell us how we might do so.
This zoomed-in image of Uranus, captured by the Near-Infrared Camera on NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope on Feb. 6, 2023, reveals stunning views of Uranus’ rings. Credits: NASA, ESA, CSA, STScI
NASA says:
“Uranus is warmer than we thought.
New computer modeling techniques revealed that Uranus generates internal heat. This is similar to our solar system’s other giant planets, like Jupiter or Neptune.”
Brought the middle kid to #OSH25 he wanted to come with me and he likes airplanes. Understanding a 14 year old might get bored I was prepared to leave early if we needed to. However, what happened was OSH was like pouring gasoline on a smoldering fire. Photos are his.

Wow, 1984 seems so long ago now.
A close crop of a bumblebee on a gray, weathered fence post.
A close crop of the off-white fur near the bees shoulder. A close look shows that the fur is feathery in appearance.
I've been stalking bees lately because bee fur is feathery and it it's fun to show that. This is a bumblebee on a fence post and you can see the feathery fur structure near the shoulder. #inverts
The newly-fledged Powerful Owlet looking quite fierce this morning. Some Noisy Miners had been briefly bothering it. I couldn't see its mama, but she will have no doubt been somewhere close keeping an eye on it.

A photo of a Steller's jay (Cyanocitta stelleri) perched on the wooden top of fence looking over its shoulder toward the camera on a sunny afternoon.
I love my new Steller's jay children and I'm getting very close to decent pictures of them that aren't through a window.

We rely on game cams to capture important data on elusive species like black-footed cats. That "data" also happens to include adorable kitten play sessions 😍
If your post includes a political bias I will not acknowledge because it is useless.

This is a total solar eclipse.
But it's artificial.
It was made by one spacecraft moving in front of the Sun relative to another—both part of ESA's new Proba-3 mission.
This is an image taken during Proba-3's first artificial solar eclipse with its ASPIICS coronagraph instrument's green filter.
Would anyone except people trying to benefit from this material watch?
