Soon Sienna will be heading off to her very own family.
After years on the streets and endless puppies taken from her she will get the life she always deserved!
In February 1777, General George Washington ordered the first mass immunization campaign in American history by mandating that his troops be inoculated against smallpox. He protected the Continental Army from an epidemic that was deadlier than British forces.
249 years later, we have this idiot.

The morning mist hovers over the silhouetted vista as the distant mountains are woken by pre daybreak light. The waterway is calm as it holds the reflection while edged with auburn grasses.
The morning arrived 📷🕊️ …
I am no expert on mushroom identification, but believe this to be a yellow oyster mushroom cluster. The cluster is tiered. The tops of the mushrooms are a golden yellow. The gills run down the cone shaped stems. They are growing on a decaying fallen tree. They are fresh and untouched. Simply beautiful!
First serious mushroom of the session. It's a biggie!!! #fungifriends

Close up of a Red Coral Orchid bloom. It’s a tall (in the world of small) flowering plant, gorgeous! Red stem, petals, with spots and a very orchid shaped flower.
Good morning bluesky!

a light brown pit bull wearing a maroon shirt sits with her ears pinned back and looks up in our direction. a hand is holding a chewed up certificate in the foreground. the signed certificate is for completion of basic obedience, and it's filled out to Maya la Pitbull. in her obedience class she was taught not to eat homework, but no one said anything about diplomas.
This is Maya. She just graduated from obedience training. May have gotten a little carried away while celebrating. 12/10 (IG: mayalapitbull)

An American Green Tree Frog with golden eyes on a white porch rail. Showing the adhesive discs on his right hand.
My little green friend is back! A cold front is coming through and it’s windy, so he picked a porch rail behind a plant stand. Very sheltered. And he’s showing the discs on his fingers! 🐸
The underside of the base of an upturned tree. The pattern of its once living root system can be seen fanning out through the earth that remains stuck to it. The trunk, lying on the ground and overgrown with moss, is on the right hand side and disappears off frame. Near the top of the exposed base, dandelions are growing and flowering. At the top of the base a small hawthorn continues to grow, its slender branches extending out into the air. These are covered in new bright green leaves. The dead tree is on grassland and there are more dandelions growing in front of it. The grassland extends back quite far and there are trees, some in new leaf, across the horizon. The sky above is cloudy and grey.

From our walk today… spring is wonderful! Enjoy🌞
The photo shows a hydrangea bush whose flower heads have only just begun to form. This means the petals are still white. They will turn blue in a week or two. Above it is the handrail of a wooden fence. In the background are the northern cliffs of São Miguel, a blue sky and the blue Atlantic Ocean. A few little clouds are a must, of course. The photo was taken at the Miradouro do Tio Domingos viewpoint and picnic area.
