A cypress swamp in soft late-afternoon light along the Blackwater River. The tall, wide-based cypress trees rise from the river backed by a partly-cloudy sky.

The late-afternoon sun glowed on the trees of the Blackwater River yesterday evening. Thunder rumbled to the north (the direction of the photo). I watched the radar closely as storms were bubbling up in that direction.
