Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang says you won't lose your job to AI-you'll lose it to your coworker who uses it In a recent interview with former national security advisor H.R. McMaster at the Stanford Graduate School of Business alongside Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA), Huang said AI wonโ€™t exactly replace you. Instead, itโ€™s possible youโ€™ll be replaced by the worker whoโ€™s boosted their productivity by using AI. โ€œIt is unlikely most people will lose a job to AI,โ€ Huang said in the interview published last week. โ€œIt is most likely that most people will lose their job to somebody who uses AI. And so, we have to make sure that everybody uses AI.โ€ The statement is a break from what other business leaders have warned about the technology. Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei said the technology will wipe out half of all entry-level white collar workers. Microsoft AI chief Mustafa Suleyman has said the same, and gave it about 18 months until that becomes a reality. At the same time, thereโ€™s a growing discontent among workers about AI adoption. KPMG found in November four in 10 workers fear AI could take their job. And a report from AI enterprise platform Writer found that 29% of workers are actively sabotaging their companyโ€™s AI strategy, with about one-third of those citing fear of AI...

Earth Day starts on our plates The first step in taking responsibility is listening. We must listen to the Earth and heed its cries and warnings. The planet is continuously being bruised by human greed through depleted soils, scarce water, and disappearing seeds. We must also listen to Indigenous Peoples who have cared for territories and food biodiversity for generations. Yet while they face some of the harshest impacts of climate change, their voices are still too often sidelined in political decision-making. This imbalance must change. The environmental crisis is not an accident. It is the result of policies and economic models that replaced reciprocity with extraction. Industrial agricultureโ€”built on monocultures, chemical inputs, and globalized marketsโ€”has weakened ecosystems and deepened inequality. Indigenous worldviews offer a different starting point: the Earth is a living system we belong to, not a resource to consume. This vision resonates deeply with Slow Foodโ€™s principles. In brief: Indigenous Peoples protect a significant share of the worldโ€™s remaining biodiversityโ€”starting with seeds. Climate justice depends on land rights, food sovereignty, and Indigenous leadership in decision-making. Agroecological practices rooted in Indigenous knowledge are already delivering workable, scalable alternatives. Those who protect biodiversity are essential political actors The Slow Food Indigenous Peoples Network ensures that...

Illustration from "The bird-life of London" (1909) showing three birds. The main subject is a detailed standing common heron with long legs, a curved neck, and intricate feather patterns, positioned on a rocky, grassy patch. Above it, a side view of a great-crested grebe is depicted with a distinctive black crest and white neck. To the upper left, a close-up of a mute swanโ€™s head is shown, highlighting its curved neck and black facial markings. The illustration emphasizes the distinct features of each bird in a natural setting, focusing on the heron's posture and plumage.

Drawing of Lady Justice, with her blindfold and level scales.

We gather on BlueSky, instead of x, because it's not about individuals fighting,
it's about building a big, strong, well organized tent based on integrity.
As we become large, by supporting each other, when they do want to fight, we have strength of numbers for defense.

In a surprising decision, the map she chose wasnโ€™t one drafted by a court-appointed special master and his expert cartographer, but rather...
