Recently traveled 1 1/2 hours to find Streptocarpus available and they only had two but they also had this gorgeous gloxinia (sinningia). Can anyone recommend a source for seeds or corns. Wish local nurseries would carry more Gesneriads.

In addition to my African violets I have been enjoying adding a few streptocarpus and begonias to my collection. They will reside on my back porch for now. Also still working on adding some annuals to the backyard. I have am in love with the streptocarpus blooms.

Beautiful!! I have been stalking that variety of violet motivated by my love for those mountains and park along with the beautiful blooms. Optimara has been sold out for a while. I hope they restock soon.
