Ahh thank you!! I'll take a look. β€οΈ

A colourful crochet blanket hangs over the edge of a white mirror.
#ShowMeYourKnits scrappy projects - here is my offering! This is the 6-Day star blanket by Betty McKnit, using up acrylic yarn from a previous knitted blanket project. This project is crochet though β¦ does that count? π€ π

Oh I love these! π€©
It's a well-written pattern, but you need to be comfortable with short rows, that I think is why it's not a beginner pattern. π
Thanks! π
I bought West Yorkshire Spinners Colour Lab DK for the white, and the rest were minis and leftovers from stash. The pattern has all the info on yardage for a couple of sizes!
It helps! π
I know what you mean! But I have set my expectations that if I start a blanket, itβs most likely going to take a couple of years to finish - then I donβt feel bad about taking my time π
A half square triangle knitted blanket in various colours, with white as the contrast
Another blanket for #showmeyourknits ! This one is the #SweetShopBlanket by Laura Penrose. It's a long term project, must have cast on about 2 years ago when it was published, but I'm taking my time. It's almost baby size, and I'm going for a full throw size eventually. #blanketknitting #knitsky π§Ά
Love the texture!
Thank you! I definitely had to trust the process but I just love the way it turned out
A multicoloured handknitted blanket folded on a small wooden stool, against a white background
Blanket week for #showmeyourknits - I have shared this one before as a WIP but not sure I shared the final object. I love love LOVE how it turned out. This is the #habitationthrow by Helen Stewart of #curioushandmade. I knitted it using minis I collected throughout 2024.

Gorgeous! I finished mine earlier this year and I love it - the process and the product!
A small cardboard box containing three mini skeins in pinks and yellows, with a daisy stitch marker and sachet of camomile tea. Behind it is a mirror and pink flowers.
Definitely drawn towards the yellows and pinks these days! I treated myself (oops) to a sweet little daisy themed mini skein set from the lovely Beehive Yarns. Gorgeous colours and an adorable little daisy stitch marker π

How fun! I have never dyed fibre myself but I'm certainly a big fan of spinning hand-dyed top!
An organza bag with several balls of cotton merino yarn, a mix of lilac, yellow and raspberry. The bag is against a white background.
When you spot there's a sale on summer cotton/merino yarn... Look at these beauties! π I'm planning to use the yellow and lilac for a #TolstaTee and the raspberry for a #sabaitop.

A little knitted bunny that I made for my cousin when she had her first baby. It was the same pattern our grandmother made all of us cousins when we were little!
I love these gentle colours π
Definitely! Yesterday I did crochet, today I did some spinning... maybe tomorrow I'll pick my knitting back up π
Thank you! I find the process soothing and meditative π
A small wooden turkish spindle with white yarn on a white table, with a plant in the background
I have had a couple of knitting fails this month so decided a quick spin with some mystery fibre found in my stash would be a quick win. This is 10g on my turkish spindle, and I love how it has turned out - surprised too, it's been a while! #fibrearts #spinning #spinsky #spindlespinning π§Ά
I got my Turkish spindle out for the first time in a while, I had also forgotten how lovely the process of creating βyarn turtlesβ is!
Beautiful colours!
Awww very cute
A brown vintage soup bowl holding leftover scraps of beige and terracotta yarn which is being crocheted into a waffle stitch cloth. Itβs on a white table, and a white chair is visible in the background.
Decided to make a quick waffle stitch cloth using leftover leftovers π A small but important attempt at being sustainable and use it all!
My own pattern, using two strands of fingering weight cotton held together. So far I like the effect! #crochet #crochetsky #handmade #sustainability #yarn
Thanks! π
They look so springy! π What is the pattern? Very pretty
Marled and colourful cotton crocheted market bag in greens, blues and pinks. It is empty, lying on a white table
Love this market bag I made using leftover cotton! The pattern calls for worsted, but I used fingering held double for a marled effect. Quick and satisfying, and practical too π π§Ά Pattern by MJβs Off The Hook www.mjsoffthehookdesigns.com/dishie-lous-...

Thank you! β€οΈ
Such a good idea! I've never tried it before but I will next time I do a crochet garment! π
