Oh no! A leaf has fallen on Steve! Somebody PLEASE HELP!!

One of the lovely warblers visiting my backyard, a Yellow-rumped Warbler. A few of these birds overwinter here in Michigan by surviving on berries, but many more pass through in the Spring.

The horrors persist but so do book stores, coffee shops, sunsets on the beach, long car rides with the windows down and music playing, clean sheets, your favorite movie, trees and wildflowers, the word 'fuck' and it's many many uses, the moon, whimsy, and wonder.

And so very elegantly too 🤍

Tax cuts for the rich are a policy choice. Cutting the social safety net in exchange for them is a policy choice.

States like New York have an opportunity to help undo this trickle down nonsense by raising taxes on the rich (who will still be rich).

I hope Gov. Hochul does.

For my own wellbeing, sometimes it's best to completely ignore harsh reality & focus exclusively on one or all of our 3 pets.
