These “I voted for him three times and I was lied to!” or “Guess I’m an idiot!” posts are pure SEO grift.
Schadenfreude sells in the attention economy and stories generally. They want clicks from progressives and leftists: disenfranchised, scrolling, with very little hope on the horizon.
image from inside Artemis II text: i need more men to understand that two men crying and hugging in space after one of them announced they were naming a moon crater after the other one's late wife is actually what peak masculinity looks like.
You can get them in Trader Joe’s. They are fantastic.
As for what happened, I feel like it was the 1993ish recession. The stories about what life would be like that we had been told as kids, turned out to be lies. A lot of people still resent that.
Life and society owes us nothing. Even if you grew up believing it does.
I made a little Instagram reel about this image because it’s just so frickin’ cool
It’s been very hot the past two weeks, but other than that, I don’t think it’s been unusual. One other cymbidium has a very short spike, but the rest are normal. It’s in an unheated greenhouse in California.
A vivid lime green cymbidium flower displayed near the black pot. The lip is lemon yellow with a blood red edge.
Back to orchid photos. This is an unusual (to me) cymbidium. The spike is very short, so the flower is right near the bulb. #bloomscrolling #orchids #cymbidium
I loved then Goatskin story I just read in NESS 0!
I just finished listening to this. It’s all fantastic: narration, story, end commentary. Great story.

Show someone who absolutely rocks a hat (that isn't Indiana Jones)
I started reading this thread because “wow that sounds like my foot.”
Thank you so much for this, I’m getting the anti fungal tomorrow.
Masters degree $25 an hour, 32 hours a week, living wage is $50 an hour and 40 hours a week.
No benefits. Thank god for ACA.
Two things: reading the Silmarillion and loving the language stuff and taking a History of the German Language course in college.
“Wait. There are multiple Germanic languages spoken in Germany today?!”
The sea air this morning actually smells like the poets say, fresh and slightly briny. It’s fantastic.
Usually it smells like dead fish and seaweed. I guess this is why people like living by the sea.
Jesus that’s a bad idea. I heard of a woman involved in an accident that ended up in the creek, walked to the emergency room, and was dead within 24 hours of sepsis.
(Absolute hearsay).
Right!?!!!
It’s really great!
Wow that’s a gorgeous picture!
I am still mad that got voted down.
Really!!? We’re going with slavery as ok?!?! WTF Californians?!??
I am so happy the rain came back.
I’d like to, Wednesdays don’t really work for me, but yes, love to meet up.
Wow that’s a gross take.
(Not you, the respondents in the image).
‘How the South Won the Civil War’ 💯🎯

Fantastic resource!
For me, it’s 2d20 Conan. I recognize that’s me, though. Others see it as too crunchy.
Low prep for me because so much time in other games (*cough* D&D) is taken up preparing and balancing fights. Which is just not necessary in Conan.
Exactly! Hell yeah!
Cat is also fun to talk to!
It’s going to take decades of hard, kind work to repair. If it even can be.
