明るい黄緑の葉の中から花芽がついた筒が伸びてきています
一昨年シンビジウムを育ててたご近所さんが亡くなり、大鉢にぎっちり植わってた株を他のご近所さんたちと処分する作業をした際に株分けしたシンビジウムが昨年は葉を増やすことに専念し、今年は蕾がつきました
ずっと屋外に置きっぱなしだったので摂氏-1度の強風の厳しい冬で枯れないどころか花芽がついたのはびっくりです

Cymbidium tigrinum is one of my favorite #cymbidium #orchids. It's a miniature growing species with wider leaves than most Cymb species. Easily grows indoors under artificial lighting, and can even bloom in warmer temperatures. The flowers are quite fragrant. #bloomscrolling One of the best.

In this picture, there are a pair of orchid flowers. The one on the right is still closed but slightly opening at the lower pedal. The one on the left is about halfway open and you can see inside the flower which is pink, but with some yellow and dark pink spots on white.

Close-up of the beautiful chocolate colored orchid, flowers. You can see that the centers are very pretty with a very dark brown sort of angular shape like a Star Trek badge from the first series and the very middle. It has a little yellow spot and they’re very sexy.

3年前に引き取ったレスキュー株のシンビジウムも開花𓂃 𓈒𓏸𑁍
引き取った当初、ものっそい傷んでたしシンビは範疇外だしーで、ようつべで勉強しながらの育成でした。
知識不足で初っ端に根っこバッサリやらかし😇やっと根鉢パンパンになって咲いてくれてホッとしておりまする。
あとふた株あるけどそちらは芽かきに失敗したのか、葉っぱ育成続行中w
仕立てる時に花茎1本折ってしまったよぅ……それでも5本満開でとてもゴージャス✨
さて、この株どうしようかなぁ。シンビの勉強出来たからもう満足😇

Here is a picture of a small Cymbidium orchid with a single spike of flowers, coming up that are sort of a dark, reddish pink on the outside of the buds. I bet this one is gonna be pink.
This is the big Cymbidium. It’s in a 7 -10 gallon pot. It has a lot of flower spikes coming up, and I know for a fact that these blossoms will be white with pink dots.
This is a small Cymbidium and the nursery pot is in a bucket that says “Trader Joe’s“ on it, and the outside of the buds are sort of yellow and green. I suspect that this will be a yellow Cymbidium.
The orchids still have not bloomed, but the blossoms are getting bigger and the big orchid has even more flower spikes coming up.
