this is a nice discussion. I think the pressure to always innovate computationally actually slows down science when we already have a lot of great tools. The important and arguably hard part is to interpret what the output of these tools mean scientifically.
My new use for Gemini: I give it a bunch of information and ask it to write me code to make a nice infographic figure to plot in python and it is amazing !
