New fundamental insights into the battle between immune cells & tumor cells: Anna @obenaufa.bsky.social's lab @impvienna.bsky.social discovered that T cells get stimulated in tumors by inflammatory monocytes, an activity blocked by oncogenic signalling through counter-regulation of PGE2 and IFN-I.
