I mostly spin commercial tops, but I would like a little thinner preparation. Some braids feel really wide and I struggled with them back when I was a beginner. Pencil roving is not my favorite though.

A top whorl spindle and purple bluefaced Leicester silk blend spinning fiber.

It's a lighter spindle with a less thick whorl. I wish I had more of these Skinny Midi spindles. 🧶

Wooden top whorl spindle with about 24 grams of purple wool spun and wound on with more purple wool and another spindle underneath.
