Question for @audaxuk.bsky.social followers: What do you use for planning 200+km rides? About 10 yrs ago I paid for the Komoot global maps upgrade & have been very happy with it. But since the company was sold, the app & website have been messed about with in a bad way. I’m looking for alternatives.
So many UK cycling organisations are trying to encourage women to ride, and yet our Government and local councils are letting us down. It's ridiculous.

With noting that if you're interested in 2027 Paris Brest Paris, 2026 is a pre-quali season. Your longest BRM event gets you an early pre-registration. Each year PBP has more riders, and an early registration can really help.

Also a shout out for Aidan Hedley (VC167) who also completed the route, albeit one week earlier as a solo "Helper Ride". His name would have been recorded among the finishers too.

Aye. I spent a few days at an austere retreat, where we took regular cold showers, ate experimental cuisine, and the beds were hard. Managed to top up my tan though.
