A Ringlet Butterfly sitting on fresh green bramble leaves. The butterfly is facing away from camera with its wings open, in the bottom left of the frame. A little red salamander with spots and round black eyes, just about to reach the grassy shade along the sidewalk.

Iris did a great job on our walk today. We saw so many amazing creatures and she didn't try to eat any of them!

New green leaves on a jasmine plant.

New spring growth on one of our Jasmine plants. When I got it, it was meant to be a red flowering variety, but it turned out to be pink. We have another which is white flowering. Both lovely!

A green hairstreak butterfly, these tiny pretty butterflies have such a vivid green underwing, and always sit at the best angle to catch the sunshine

It's a #butterfly day! 😍🤩🎉🦋 Great to see at least 5 male green hairstreaks very active in the sunshine in #SouthCumbria, and thankfully Mr Wonderful let me use his fancy camera to give me chance to take my own pic! That's 9 species so far this year @savebutterflies.bsky.social #vitaminN

Holly Blue butterfly sat on a stone near some twigs and leaves. It has pale blue undersides to its wings with some small black dots.

Saw a Holly Blue butterfly today in the garden. Hope it returns as I’d like to get a photo of the upper side of its wings if I get the chance! They are a darker grey/blue with white edging, and some black near the upper tips of the wings.

The camera captures a very tranquil lake. The lower and upper shores are outside the frame, with only the water's surface visible, reflecting the blue sky and white clouds. At the top edge of the image, you can see the reflection of trees growing on the opposite shore. In the centre of the image, there is the reflection of a slightly larger cloud.

When the cloud saw its reflection in the water,
it stopped abruptly,
for it found delight in its own shape,
while
the other clouds continued on their way
and kept
transforming themselves.
