It sounds positively awful. Gastro is truly one of the worst things.

10 days would wipe out a healthy person!

10 days??!! Gosh. That's rough. Yeah things really take a long time to get through.
Really hope you get back to baseline.

I'm trying to make a concerted effort to be hopeful. It's hard. Easier said than done.

Iran’s people were facing a horrible shortage of water before the war began. If we are destroying desalination plants and setting fire to Teheran we are committing unfathomable crimes.

Anna is really struggling. Please help or re-post if you can.

Anna needs to find some new ready made protein drinks (avail in Australia). Needs to be soy & dairy free.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Not really progress. But I'm not getting worse which is something. I had a big set back middle of last year that saw a drop in my baseline. Still haven't recovered but I'm stable again. I can mostly look after myself - kind of. But I get by ok.
Watching too many of us deteriorate. 🥺

Yes I'm familiarwith them and their long history. Never ceases to amaze me how the weight of science going against them isn't enough to change the narrative.

A screenshot of a purple-themed announcement text inviting General Practitioners (GPs) to a free virtual event on March 24th titled "Pulse 365." The text highlights a session on "ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome – not just tired all the time" presented by Dr. Alastair Miller, a consultant physician at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital. It notes the event aims to support GPs in confident decision-making, earlier diagnosis, and management, following a Department of Health and Social Care announcement regarding the key role GPs play in caring for patients with mild and moderate ME/CFS.

⚠️ We have serious concerns about Dr Alastair Miller running a GP course for MECFS Diagnosis & Management for Pulse Today.

Miller is:
🔹ex-chair of BACME
🔹reviewer of PACE
🔹GET researcher
🔹anti-NICE

Canadian here, and as far as I'm concerned we've now learned unequivocally that America is always just one election away from abandoning the rule of law and behaving like a gangster state.

That sucks. Sorry to hear that its been harder. I hate how it does just screw you up even more at times. There is so often no rhyme or reason to it.

I find anniversaries really hard going. 😪 they do mess with your head.

Is the RACGP HANDI recommendation of incremental physical activity for chronic fatigue syndrome The Handbook of Non-Drug interventions (HANDI) is an online formulary of non-drug interventions, enabling GPs to offer to a greater choice of interventions to their patients.

Invited response to viewpoint article Response to a Viewpoint article about the Handbook of Non-Drug interventions (HANDI).

And of course the shockingly dismissive response where criticisms of methodology and inadequate recognition of pathophysiology identified to date are dismissed without engaging in the issues raised but simply as patients "reject evidence".

This is what Australians with #MECFS are up against. Bad advice from RACGP.

Australia’s GDP growth is partly due to government spending. So why isn’t the Coalition complaining? | Greg Jericho After such a long period of miserable figures, seeing the economy grow closer to 3% is a relief

My take on the GDP figures, Libs complain about govt spending... the big federal boost in govt spending was for defence... I thought the Libs liked that.... whoops

Totally ok not to answer that one. Often a hard one to respond to. Esp when you're 3, 4 or more yrs in.

Penny Wong should be censured for plagiarising John Howard's #IraqWar justification notes in her remarks justifying the #IranWar. She did a copy-and-paste, changed q to n, and then repeated the talking points on every news program. Pathetic. 😠 #auspol
