Such a good idea. We have rewritten the pure SOW and possibly will look at Statistics next. #alevelmaths

Lots of Dr Frost slides have been updated. These are much better and flow better through a topic. Loved teaching mechanics with the new slides. Didn’t hardly use the textbook. #alevelmaths
Really like this idea.
Such a good idea. We mix up our mock papers so not easy for us to do. However am thinking of giving my #Alevelmaths group 2024 and shadow 2024 in a similar 2nd chance format.
Had an intervention session with yr13. They wanted to look at Yr2 integration. Told them to use their desk as whiteboards. Great conversations and sharing from a group who struggle with maths. Heard them as they went down the stairs - best maths lesson I have ever had. Made my week #Alevelmaths
So many issues with using a protractor today, let alone when I asked my year 8 to use a compass on 2nd lesson of pie charts #mathstoday oh what fun I had…
Generally the simple moments such as getting outside, playing with my cats alongside a good A level question.
Perfect for my lesson this week. Hopefully should stop them worrying so much about domain and range.
I’ve gone for washing machine repair to start my half term.
These look great. Do you have solutions by any chance please? #alevelmaths
Edexcel have some practice papers with examiner feedback. They are a good resource. Also make sure you have version of mark scheme with notes so you can check what the marks can be given for. #alevelmaths
A friend of mine has just launched this website that I think is pretty great for generating quick starters for A-Level maths and he has started adding some questions for Further Maths too.

Congratulations. So tough to get an offer. Our 2 didn’t succeed.
Love these with my year 8 and 9 classes that need a bit extra support
This looks great can you share the resource please?
Ooh had forgotten all about these. Use the starter questions lots. #Alevelmaths
The roller chalkboard with the aim to go round at least once!
Had fun teaching year 8 problem solving questions in the canteen, no whiteboard, in fact nothing apart from the sheet! Only place that was free to teach them in, my room booked by someone else…

Totally agree. Such a great and useful read.
Did all the paintwork myself. 6 layers on the stairs. Got company in to do runner and took it round the landing too.
Did this to mine. Paint stripper helped. Took a while. But very happy now!
I may just fall asleep here
Thank you so much for these amazing resources
Textbook exercises are self marked. The students complete feedback/ summary where they can list 3 questions they struggled with, which is the focus for the written feedback from me. If there is a pattern I will go over the Q next lesson.
Just a few years more!
Good luck. Rare that I can take my two together, as once I catch one the other disappears…
There were flags next to a student with special consideration on their individual scores but yes this would cause a problem.
Yes, this was the first time I had seen it. I had set up the cohort as a group.
My thoughts exactly! Wanted to read it once got results.
I’ve got it as two separate, one with paper scores and one with totals. Got from results plus
