On the outside/front of the glass, altho this one here is in a diff. kind of frame than I typically use, which actually has two pieces of glass and opens on a hinge, so here I've painted on the front of the "inner" glass and it has an "outer" piece covering it (if that makes sense)

I do have one that looks very similar to this in progress/not quite finished, a pandora sphinx moth! I've also been fooled a few times thinking sphinx moths were a hummingbirds, haha
