Und auch wenn ich es goofy finde, wenn an jeder kleinsten Baustelle Leute rumstehen, deren einzige Aufgabe es ist, "aufzupassen" und den Leuten den (offensichtlichen) Weg zu zeigen, offenbart das schon ganz viel über die Kultur hier. Bissl extrem, wie gesagt, aber...

Es sind genau diese Kleinigkeiten, die vielleicht nichts besonderes mehr sind, wenn man hier wohnt. Aber die Atmosphäre, die diese Kleinigkeiten schaffen, vermisse ich in Deutschland schon. Da kriegt man eher das Gefühl "Für euch/die Kunden/Bürger reicht's". Schwer zu beschreiben.

Wenn es eine Sache ist, die ich aus Japan jetzt schon wieder vermissen werde, sind diese für sich gesehen unwichtigen Kleinigkeiten. Künstliches Vogelgezwitscher am Bahnsteig, Melodien beim Halten an einer Haltestelle, kostenloses Wasser/Tee im Restaurant/Café usw.

Since arriving in Japan, I should have counted how many times I get "Nihongo jouzu'd". 😅 Actually insane but I'm travelling alone, really outgoing and always trying to speak in Japanese so I guess that explains it.
