Reading 5 Leagues from the Borderlands and I was quite taken by the table of enemy names for a miniature neutral system; simultaneously compellingly evocative and completely neutral. #tabletop #5leagues

How the game started, the attackers snook forward using cover as best as the could. Philopus is on the right, that’s his house.

This is just after the ambush is sprung, the attackers got right up the board and left no chance to the Stout Heart Rangers to organise a defence. Philopus eventually hears the commotion and comes out to the aid of his friends.

The attackers are slowly whittled down, poor morale saw two turn tail and flee. At the back the Ruthless Killer, one of the knights of Tallowhall prepares to strike.

Vanstarn is killed by the leader of the attacker but is in turn killed along with his fellows leaving the knight surrounded and eventually overwhelmed in combat.

It was an uncharacteristically good start to #5Leagues, ambushes by the followers of the Lord of Tallowhall the brave Stout Heart Rangers drove them off and saved the life of their friend Philopus! There was a death in the group but only a follower. #nerdlings #wargaming

I got distracted with some painting today, some more dramatis personae for #TraitorsToll and the leader of the Stout Heart Rangers for #5Leagues. I’ll prepare a few more models for painting this week but first some terrain for Battletech I think. #nerdlings #wargaming #minipainting

The other day it was a man and his goose, today it’s a cult leader and his chameleon walking into the tavern, now there has to be a story behind that! I’m going to use this model to add some #FolkHorror to my #BaronsWar peasantry and for #5Leagues as a leader for the bandits #nerdlings #wargaming

This time it’s the correct Halfling! With this tiny fellow done I just need to find the rest of the adventuring party and it’s game on for #5Leagues. Finding them is not a simple task…

I finished 2024 with #Battletech and I’m finishing 2025 with a Halfling. I got very little Battletech played but I’m hoping I’ll get good use out of this humble fellow with #5Leagues in the new year. I just need to get the rest of the party done! Happy New Year #nerdlings

I restarted my Five Leagues from the Borderlands campaign, going to try and play weekly. It’s the first time I got my new terrain together on the table and it’s looking fine. Sadly despite defeating the Gnolls I was driven off by a very powerful Fey Reaver! #5leagues #wargaming
