Unsurprisingly, recon didn't find much of note in #99L. Moving into the Caribbean, it's just about out of time now. Was near TC status for a while but couldn't quite get there

NHC has just issued a special tropical weather outlook for #99L. Recon has not found a closed low-level circulation. Chances are back down to 30%
Two more recon flights have been tasked for #99L for Monday evening and Tuesday morning. All flights for #Fernand have been cancelled as it moves east of Bermuda.
The National Hurricane Center continues to monitor Invest #99L, giving it a medium chance of development over the next 48 hours and seven days, respectively.

The 18z Euro ensembles seem to like the prospects for #99L in the short term, with about 50% of members showing development in the next 48 hours. Most then show it falling apart in the eastern Caribbean, although a few members have it quite strong in the NW Caribbean.

#99L is looking pretty decent this evening with some evidence of banding. It has a more hostile road ahead of it with the Caribbean graveyard, but it may try to develop before reaching there. Will have recon tomorrow. Surprised chances for development are only 20% with this look
