Ratings after the first play-through are always a little iffy, but as it stands right now, Alice sits head-to-head with Forgotten Age, Carcosa and Innsmouth as my peak capaign. The thing that stands out is that it simply doesn't have a weak scenario. It's just all good. #ahlcg #arkhamhorror
I decided to run Mysterious Grimoire in Luke, and it's a pretty great fit. The card is the ungodly lovechild of Mr. Rook, Scroll of Secrety and Old Book of Lore, and I'm all here fot it. #arkhamhorror #ahlcg
To round the day out, we played the Fool's Mate scenario of Alice In Wonderland. Pretty interesting one, considering it's technically a linear scenario. Not quite as impressive as some of the others in the campaign, but still very good. #ahlcg #arkhamhorror
Plus the Rogue card pool gives you absolutely no interesting incentive to actually gain experience. You get to move a lot, and Out of Sight (3) is great, but it doesn't give you any consitent boost at doing stuff well. #ahlcg #arkhamhorror
Rogue Flex in two-player is rough with just Core. If you didn't fish Olivier out of you Mulligan you'll be playing at four Agility, and the second scenario has plenty of four shroud locations. Yes, gou get to flex with Hammerless, but you suck at both jobs. #ahlcg #arkhamhorror
What isn't great design, however, is the fact that the resolution for resigning and not resigning is identical. I think that isa bad way of teaching new players that resigning usually is advantageous over dooming out. The design team probably has their reasons. #ahlcg #arkhamhorror
The Damned enemy is a pretty neat design and very, very successful in what it does. It spreads 2-player teams with a Seeker cluever and and an oldschool goon a little thin on answers. Excited to see where they go with Damned. #ahlcg #arkhamhorror
I also kicked off Brethren of Ash yesterday. Spreading Flames felt quite tough, at least with with Core only deckbuilding. A fun scenario and definetly a solid step up for a first scenario of a core Set when compared to The Gathering. #ahlcg #arkhamhorror
Sibling Rivalry was quite good. Not quite the heights of the Snark Chase, but still a very good scenario. This campaign is very impressive so far - in a way, you can very clearly tell that the designer wasn't under delivery pressure when building. #ahlcg #arkhamhorror
Wild Snark Chase is absolutely incredible. One of the best scenarios this game has to offer. I'd even say that it passes the replayability check pretty clearnly. #ahlcg #arkhamhorror

We ran the sceond scenario of the Alice in Wonderland campaign today. Really, really fun one. Very unique mechanic with the oysters. Really shows you that the mechanics of Arkham can do pretty much anything. Great scenario and wildly entertaining campaign so far. #arkhamhorror #ahlcg #arkhamlcg
The final build of Joe in that Hemlock Run. Joe is much more fun than I thought he'd be, and even though you have to dedicate some Mythos slots, so be it. This build works quite well, but is a bit of a setup nightmare (hence the Ever Vigilants) #ahlcg #arkhamhorror
norman from the edge run. it gets clues good at any stage of the and plays a deduction loop with atlas & livre. it uses the same loop to keep charges on its fighting spells. it's really strong, as normans tend to be. #ahlcg #arkhamhorror
