I'll just add to this that the song with most 12s is not even in the top 10 as it stands.
The only precedents for this are:
#ALL50RTS - Thunder Road joint most (3), finished 44th
#FearofMu21C - B.O.B. and Come On Let's Go joint most (3), finished 13th and 82nd

Though during #all50rts I did come to the annoying conclusion that I think this _is_ a single - but not listed on Discogs or Wikipedia! Think it was the combo of Bandcamp page + video + Spotify page that convinced me.

I am minded to keep it at three.
But my main issue (arising from #ALL50RTS) is the songs people may easily assume *are* singles which aren't.
And I really don't want to go down the "oh there's a video/there's a download, it's ok" route again.

The main reason for this rule (as per previous challenges passim bar #All50rts, and the FAQs) is to insure against even worse vote-splitting for major artists.
Hence, if it's some one-pick rando, I'm much less likely to fuss about it in practice.
It isn't checked as assiduously as NKC/PC.

Venom DOESN'T count as a single though - I was reluctantly persuaded to be more generous with the definition in #FearofMu21C (largely because the three decades are so different on this point), but I think it fit much better in #All50rts.

I had 9 non-singles from the 2010s in #ALL50RTS, and there are 9 in this list. They're not the same though because rules. And also because I have sensibly changed Kendrick's. 'Unlock It' was a near-miss for that list.
