M42 Great Orion Nebula 12x5 min exposures, stacked and stretched in Siril, DPP Meade LX200 Classic OTA, FR/FF f/6.3, IR Modified Canon 650D, CLS Filter, ZWO AM5N, Autoguided

First light on the new #AM5N #LX200 setup! The clouds parted enough to get an hour in on my all time favorite #M42, the "Great Orion" Nebula. Amazed at the ease of setup and minimal time to get imaging started. Looking forward to the possibilities of this new setup!

End of an era and the beginning of a new one! After 30+ years of relatively flawless service, I deforked my #Meade #LX200 and adapted it to the new #ZWO #AM5N mount! To the next 30 years!
