"Reach Out" is an acrylic painting on canvas. the painting shows a man facing the viewer, looking down at his arms that have had their wrists and hands severed completely off. there is a shrouded skeleton standing next to him with a bony arm around his shoulders. the background looks somewhat like a padded room, but each square is a screen–showing vague silhouette of the man. in the foreground are both his hands, fingers stretched and helplessly reaching out to their owner who stares in shock only at his bloody stumps. the perspective is lower than eye-level with the man, giving the impression that the view is from the falling hands themselves.
