あいち2025の先行展示を見に愛・地球博記念公園へ行ってまいりました。
今日もひたすらに暑かったので作品をじっくり鑑賞するというより、「これだけ暑いと甲羅から足も頭も出したくないですよね、わかります」みたいな気持ちでいっぱいでした。
想像していたより大きくて存在感があって、甲羅の造形が美しかったです。

The flower is heavy and was facing the ground. I had to hold it up in order to take a photo. A green seed bulb inside appears to be surrounded by two layers of red petals. i'm not a botanist, so I can't get much more descriptive than that.
Slightly out of focus, a Shiney red flower faces down. Just below that appears the pitcher portion of the plant. There seems to be multiple pitchers in the circular area around the flower leading me to believe that they are all part of the same plant.
A close look at one of the pitchers. Reddish veins blend into the green of the plant. It's rather beautiful and unique.
One of the most interesting finds on my recent #backpacking adventure in Maine was this lovely purple pitcher plant. The flower Cait my eye from a distance and a search for the body of the plant led me to a ring of pitchers. #AppalachianTrail #hiking #nativeplants #ecology #nativeflowers #AT2025
