Can anyone tell me how to navigate the AV Club website? Is there a directory or systematic order I'm missing, or is it actually impossible to look for a review of a specific episode of a specific tv series, and maybe even navigate to the next episode after reading it? #avclub

A couple weeks ago I started an #avclub channel on the company Slack, and all Pride Month I've been providing a daily personal recommendation of queer media with a little blurb

The agenda so far:

1: I Saw the TV Glow

Friday: suggests Slack channel at work for casual discussion of movies, TV, music, etc
Tuesday: initiates #avclub channel
Saturday: commits to subjecting coworkers to an entire month of queer-related media recommendations

A reddit post where “tanj_redshirt” quotes an exchange: "The brotherhood of AV exists beyond your petty factionalism. We serve only Video, the one true queen, and her faithful consort, Audio." "Oh, could you guys be bigger nerds?" "No, most of us have achieved our maximum potential."

RIP #AVClub - I returned over the years because, even with the horrible platforms, the wretched treatment of its writers, and the listification of articles, it still had one of the best comment sections on the web. No more. They've now disabled comments. Sadly, a once great platform finally dies.

The #AVClub has gotten rid of comments on their articles, officially completing the enshittification of the website.

It's dead now.

Excited to watch the #UKChampionship on #wwe. Of course, jr fucking spoiled the outcome in that #AvClub interview an hour ago so...🙄

Apparently #Revenge has been gone so long that #AVClub forgot to add it to What's on Tonight.
