@dis-ppl-protest.bsky.social I'm also protesting the changes to Motability, people will pay more and have less choice, while the available vehicles aren't always appropriate for their needs. And the ruination of #AccesstoWork, if you want disabled people to work, they need the means to do so.

for anyone wanting to add their experience w/ #AccessToWork to a national campaign: graeae.org/resource/acc.... original event has passed but the survey is continuing and i'd expect more to come.

it's long overdue time that #DWP steppedTF up and stopped making it demonstrably harder for us to work!

Just incase anyone is wondering, I just spoke to #AccessToWork, self employed applications are being dealt with from August 2024, employed applications from July 2025. But tell me how disabled people just don't want to work. #DisabilitySky #ChronicIllness

Letter: How parliament ignored a disability charity’s evidence From Katharine Sutton, Managing Director, Aspire Community Works, London E2, UK

We submitted evidence to the Public Accounts Committee on #accesstowork but they failed to publish it, the lived experience of our workers was kept behind closed doors and parliamentary privilege. How many others had their voices silenced? See FT Letter shorturl.at/egyqE and retweet in support

Disabled people are facing an existential threat as #AccessToWork seems to be being gutted from the inside. We know it’s being reformed but not what this will look like or the timeline. We need leaders to engage now or risk undoing decades of investment
