Aaand that wraps up my first campaign run of at least three. Despite its jank, I enjoy the game to this day. For such an underrepresented part of Strangereal, Aurelia is a truly beautiful place, and Gryphus 1 is a truly fascinating pilot.

I got a little full of myself and decided to use the Super Hornet for the last leg of the Aurelian War. Couldn't really help it, SuperOstrich's Top Gun: Maverick-inspired livery is *that* cool.

At least the showdown over Griswall more than makes up for it. I'm glad that Project Aces reused their ideas from Zero's Excalibur for the fight for Gaiuss Tower. The night-lit city, the laser beams, advanced air fighters... what's not to love?

Among all the aerial fortresses I've encountered, the Gleipnir is one of the more outstanding ones. It's overengineered and powerful to the point of ridiculousness, and its theme came seemingly straight out of a horror movie. Fighting it is a joy, mid-air collisions notwithstanding.

ACX holds a special place in my heart. It has its jank, some of the mission design choices are questionable and the lack of a second analog stick is readily apparent. Yet, its jank is also endearing (looking at you, Crux and Naiad). Plus, it's the only time we go to South Osea!
