As an Adoptee I’ve never handled pranks, surprises, hints, secrecy, etc well… even if they were ‘good’ . My nervous system will arm it self against any perceived attack. It does not like not knowing what is coming. It’s definitely enlightening to know about myself. #adoptee #adultadoptees
