I transported 10 dogs and 3 cats from Ely and Wendover in Nevada to Salt Lake yesterday. All were very well behaved. One dog was very frightened, though. And it looks like we'll be fostering one of the cats ❤️.

Transported a sick little kitten today from Sevier County, a beautiful little Siamese boy. I named him Cashew. He passed away before I could get him to the vet in Salt Lake City. Life is rough for rural kittens and many die every day. But this was one I held in my arms. 💔

Bringing together a @eppgroup.bsky.social & a @greens-efa.eu MEP to draft a common document on #AnimalWelfare was no easy task and lead to a report focusing on enforcement, implementation, stronger monitoring & clearer obligations.

Next step: amendments.
