‎‘Anything for Jackson’ review by Kyle Scharf • Letterboxd An uneasy, wonderfully performed sinking into the depths one will follow to bring back a lost loved one, filled with some insane and disturbing imagery. Invoking the style and feel of classics like Rosemary's Baby, thought not as perfect as that masterpiece, my only true complaint is the same I have with all films that deal with any form of Satanism, in that there is always a ridiculous level of stereotyping that is so far beyond being accurate that it drives me nuts. Yes, seeing the kindly old doctor and his wife worshipping Satan is fantastic but is shot right

#AnythingForJackson made it to #Tubi. I originally watched it, a couple of years ago, on #Shudder. Watch it! It’s a definite must watch. 8.75/10

#anythingforjackson was a wild one wasn’t it? Quite derivative in parts but two great leads, a good concept and some creepy moments. Worth checking out on Shudder. 7/10.

The performances elevated this above the plot, and Sheila McCarthy was sublime. At least one really interesting death, so my rating reflects all the missed opportunities. 4/10
