Benji Benson, a grizzly bear cub, dressed in formalwear: a silk topper, Eton collar, bow tie, cuffs, white gloves, black trousers with belt, and black evening shoes. Benji holds a cane in his right hand.
Billy Bunter, a 14-year-old student in the Remove form, walks into Greyfriars School following a party at Cliff House, a nearby girls' school. Taught a lesson for stealing his fellow students' clothing—twice—he enters the school, dazed, wearing nothing but a worn-out top hat, a pair of shoes, and a sack going right down to his ankles, his stolen apparel having been taken back by his classmates, who laugh at Bunter as he enters. I admit Charles Hamilton's school stories (Greyfriars, St. Jim's, et al.) were a huge influence on the development of the Fellowship of #Applewood .

The title art to "Benji's Halloween Party." Benji Benson, (bear, center), and Bertram Elliott (badger, right), both around twelve years old, bicker over their like-minded costume choices. Both are wearing trunks (light blue for Benji; lavender for Bertram), diving masks and swim fins. Looking on, bemused, is one od their Fellowship chums, Freddie Kennedy (fox, left), dressed as a sunflower. He is wearing a large hood of flower petals, with a brown cloth mesh mask resembling the seeds. A green leotard worn over light green hose, along with white ballet slippers and green mittens shaped like leaves, complete the outfit.

Bertram Elliott and Richie Powell—badger and rabbit, respectively—feeing rather amused after having been out in the heavy rain enroute to the clubhouse. They are peeling off articles of wet clothing, with Richie about to drop his wet bow on the ground. Also on the ground is Bertram’s umbrella, completely stripped from a large gust of wind. Rodney Barrie (a rooster), holding Bertram's soggy Eton collar, and Freddie Kennedy (a fox) look on, looking somewhat displeased at their state.
Bertram and Richie would rather be dripping wet from the pouring rain than miss out on club affairs!
