#Teotichuacan is simply a *massive* site!
The main ceremonial route Avenue of the Dead is at least 2km (some say up to 5km) long; most folks only see a fraction of the whole ste. We spent 8 hours and still missed some spots.

Yesterday, we visited the #Archaeological #Museum of #Cartagena, sited on the #ruins of a #Roman necropolis, which is pretty cool.

Small space does a fair job of chronicling ~2500 years of history, with some interesting #artifacts

Kind of a stretch for #FebruArty, but OK for #FishyFeb?

Behold just a few of the 3000+ years old fish maceration vats in #Lixus, #Morocco.

The Phoenician, Carthaginian, then Roman town supplied salted tuna and fish sauce(s) all over the Med & Europe.
