Thereβs a lot to like there. And Napalm Death and Cardiacs on the same bill promises some hijinks, Iβm sure.

Sleepytime Gorilla Museum were a highlight of #Arctangent last year. But I've not listened to that much of their works. This, is the weird and wonderfully creative sound I'd expect from them. Like a fever-dream musical. #metalsky #experimental

I also listened to TTNG, another band off the #arctangent list. This is pure math rock. Very clever, very interesting, not very sure itβs for me. Spent the album admiring their playing (especially the drumming) but not enjoying the results as much. #musicsky #mathrock

Alcest are an immediate must see for #arctangent. Thought it might be a bit too uplifting - I kind of like gloomy music - but it hit the right spot. Perfectly timed for my mood actually.

I liked the most recent Cult of Luna album so expected to like this. Theyβre performing it in full at #arctangent.
There was a moment in the first track where I wasnβt sure it was going to live up to the hype. But we got past that and this is solid, sludgy post metal.

Working through some more headliners for #arctangent. Chelsea Wolfe is one I want to see. This recent album of alternate folk/rock is very good. I could perhaps go for a slightly less cleanly produced sound but Iβm being picky.
