This is my👩🎨 “that one brush you just can’t part with”. 🥰 I’ve had it for almost 40yrs. A golden taklon 🖌️that volunteered one day to mix paint & it’s been doing it ever since. No other brush has this role; dedicated solely to mixing watercolors or acrylics.

For me it's a combination of out in the landscape, on the beach, and inside the sanctuary that is my studio. The studio cats and I have regular debates about who gets priority on the armchair in the corner.

The beginnings of a new drawing. It won't be all that big, only about 1.5 metres by 2 metres. Trying the introduction of origami. So when completed, it will need to be unfurled and folded to reveal the full image.
