This book consists particularly of surveys done by the author, as well as interviews of members of the aro / ace community who are identified only by their initials. It does also cite other sources but it's mostly these anecdotes which keep the work afloat but which also add colour and variation to it. It's definitely one of the essential books to read if you wish to learn more about aro / ace identities and learn about real experiences of community members.

A traditional full body artwork of my anthropomorphic fox OC, Mikan. The artwork uses ohuhu alcohol markers, washi tapes, and fineliner pens. Two of the washi tapes used are the asexual and agender pride flags.
