A poem by James Gale about standing still in nature. It reads: The pure beauty of nature is only revealed when you stand still. Nature will hide whenever you rush by, seeing you as a corrupted predator— a threat to its blissful peace of mind. Stand still. Breathe. Take your time. Let nature show you: there is meaning in taking your time. Standing still is perfectly fine. It can show you many things you'd otherwise blink by. There is beauty in stillness. It will cost you nothing, but time.

Wrote this after standing still in the forest and seeing nature come alive.

It reminded me that I'm always rushing and planning the next thing.
