Fuchida's a/c was fresh during Hawaii operation but here is what it looked like in early 42, photography during Indian Ocean ops.

Now though it's the Kate of Cmndr Fuchida!
Here is the data from AIRfile.
The aircraft shown is my target. It was a 'new' a/c delivered in bare aluminum.
Topside green was brush painted at sea.
Each carriers B5Ns had differing interpretations to this end.

For the Fujimi Val it's time to complete the restoration!
The airframe, paint & markings are good but maybe a vacuform canopy & new tail gun.
It dive brakes are gone also...

Here's an Ancient build.
This is the old Fujimi 1/48 Aichi D3A Val. A kit ahead of its time!
1st built 1983.
It suffered losing bits, decals peeling☹️
Restored 2003.
This was my IJN grey brown then.
Brush pnted canopy, markings are IJN Soryu matching my A6M.
