Hope in the Dark.48 We finished our first report in this series, "Projections: This is Not Normal"49 with this quote from Rebecca Solnit and our own clear statement of hope: An occupational hazard when compiling, or reading, this kind of foresight report is to focus on the negative and project pessimistic visions of the future. There's no denying there's significant problems facing us all - including the climate crisis, divisions and disinformation — but there are also reasons to be hopeful about the future, provided we take an active role in bringing about the change we want to see in the world.
