Black Mamas DESERVE access to: Pre-pregnancy care. Prenatal care. Labor and delivery support. Postpartum care. Family planning services.
Black Mamas DESERVE the right, respect, and resources they need to thrive before, during, and after pregnancy.
LGBTO+ Black Mamas DESERVE inclusive reproductive health care.
Maternal health doesn’t start when a person gets pregnant, and doesn’t stop when a pregnancy is over. Black Mamas and birthing people deserve more than survival — they deserve to thrive, be seen, embraced and supported at all stages of their reproductive lives. #BMHW

In Illinois, we believe the quality of your pregnancy and postpartum care shouldn’t be determined by your race, zip code, or economic status. It is a right, not a privilege, to carry a healthy pregnancy, deliver a healthy baby, and make it home to raise that baby in a healthy environment. #BMHW
