This was part of the “Hare of Appleblossom” drawing, which was both adult and baby. The picture was photocopied, then the adult hare was cropped and painted out by hand, and the baby scanned at 1200 dpi, then enlarged and printed onto art paper (Pacific Inkjet), and worked over in multiple layers with markers, ink, paint pen, and opaque ink until I was satisfied with the look. This one looks right. It took about 14 hours from start to finish.

With Bob’s help, I scanned & enlarged the 2x2.75” spud onto 8.5x11” art paper, and went to town on it with markers, opaque inks, and paint pens. I’m very happy with the result. ~14hrs.
