The 13th of July was a bad day for 465 SQN in my 'Finest Hour' campaign for #Bagthehun. "B" flight was bounced by 3 schwarms of 109's. The flight lost two pilots/planes, with a third plane damaged.

The torpedo comes up quickly in the new turn and barely manages to avoid going to deep, hitting and holing one of the transports. With all the bombers either driven off or having zero payload left, I called this one as a draw, since one transport was down. #BagTheHun

I was delighted to participate in @andycrow.bsky.social’s game of #BagtheHun at #WinterWonderLard, really enjoyed trying to line up a freighter for a torpedo attack from Beauforts while Beaufighters stalked the convey and eventually got off so very effective strafing attacks. #spreadthelard.
