Today’s find at #BarterBooks in Alnwick. I did a degree in electronics, but could never afford this book at the time. So happy to own it now, 35 years later!

#BarterBooks in the old Alnwick railway terminus station has a high level model railway running above some of the book stands. Well worth a visit when you venture further north because the cafe might be selling stotties or ‘singing hinnies’ (griddled scones)

The bookshop is housed in the town's old Victorian railway station, which was decommissioned in 1968. Lines from poems and quotes, such as those from the Song of Solomon seen in the image, are displayed throughout the shop.
