A closely cropped colour photograph of a mixed media artwork. It features a digital scan of a salmon pink Financial Times newspaper from 2009, whitewashed in the centre with two charcoal figures – the face of a young black man and the back of another. There’s a yellow form with red ink writing pasted onto the right of the newspaper.

3) Time (from the Louder than Words series) sees Barbara Walker layering and collaging. This is her son, Solomon, and one of the many stop and search dockets that he received from West Midlands police.
