#BenjaminHarrison was born #OnThisDay in 1833; elected our 23rd president in 1888, "his most noteworthy & long-lasting legislative stewardship coming in the form of the Sherman Anti-Trust Act in 1889, which set the precedent for breaking up powerful industrial monopolies"; we need a new & much stronger law now to deal with the monopolies & oligopolies of the neoliberal economy we're suffering in today~!
