Used the last of my money to get an Uber to get to where I needed to go.
#BetterBus my ass, there is no way I should be waiting almost 2 hours for a fucking bus at 11:45pm in 45°F weather.
Today just goes to show that life just isn't getting better for me anymore.

I don’t feel safe getting on the bus and some of the buses don’t stop at my #WMATA stop.
Why?
Because several buses for another line pile up at the stop. It’s hard for the driver to see passengers waiting, and the buses must stop at unsafe places to be boarded.

I spoke to the daughter of one of the ppl quoted here bc I could tell she didn’t have the right info. The #BetterBus network does not cut her off. She has a new, shorter route to Metrorail. We got her hooked up!

You know how it feels when—as a grownup—you run into a childhood teacher or friend’s parent, and you’re supposed to call them “Steve” or “Linda” and not “Mr. Smith” or “Ms. Jones”?
Well, that may be how it feels to call your Metrobus route by its new #BetterBus name for a while.
OK, @wmata.com, first negative #Metrobus experience under #BetterBus: The scheduled 4:10 PM D74 departure from Rhode Island Ave Station never showed up. Guess I’m waiting for the 4:30. Got a text saying “expect delays on Route D74 due to operator availability,” so I guess that’s what’s going on.
This #BetterBus bullsh*t that WMATA started is not better. At all.
Not only can I NOT get a bus that goes to the station closest to me, but this "20 minute every bus" is a lie, because the next bus at my stop to to to a DIFFERENT STATION comes in 45 minutes. It's 90°F. I hate this.

For example, when the scheduled westbound 32 bus leaves Southern Ave at 11:45pm Saturday—does that run as the final 32 or the first D10? Curious how the overnight switch happens. Thx!

As I see the new @wmata.com #BetterBus signs roll out across the region I’ve noticed a glaring error: every D1X sign is incorrect. All eastbound signs say the destination is Archives and westbound signs say Naylor Rd. I’ve noticed the same with Bus C37. Please fix before 6/29 to avoid confusion.
