The setting sun is a little muted by thin low cloud stretching across the sky, now lit up a glowing gold as the sun almost touches the horizon. It's seen through the thin trunks and bushy crowns of a stand of pandanus trees growing in the wetland on the edge of the billabong. Other pandanus and trees further in the distance are also seen only in silhouette, and the wetland is there only as a dark mass between the water's edge and the horizon. The water is a gently rippled black and gold, irregularly reflecting the closest pandanus.
