Walked in front our vehicle and what a beauty it was. A strong presence and gorgeous plumage. Just strutting its beauty as we observed.
Peacocks are the male of the peafowl species females are peahens, renowned for their brilliant, iridescent tail feathers, which they display for mating. These omnivores, live 15-20 years, and can fly, often roosting in trees at night.

The Goldcrest (Regulus regulus) has a wide distribution in the UK and Ireland. It weighs just 6g. It is classed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List but has a decreasing population trend. It has a very large range in Europe and parts of Asia. Their habitat is that of mixed and coniferous woodlands. Their UK Conservation Status is Green. They consume insects and arachnids.
